At Couchbase, we pride ourselves on enabling enterprises to innovate faster, scale effortlessly and optimize costs, all while ensuring high performance from cloud to edge. This week, we announced our fourth quarter and fiscal 2025 results during our Q4 earnings call where we shared some of the exciting customer wins we saw from the quarter. Highlights included robust renewals and expansions and continued strong Capella adoption and consumption growth. We saw wins across a wide variety of industries including travel and hospitality, financial services, e-commerce, telecommunications, gaming, and media and entertainment to name a few.

Here are some of the customer expansion and migration highlights we shared from the quarter:

    • In Q4, a leading global financial firm expanded with Couchbase due to the flexibility of our platform. With this expansion among the largest in Couchbase history and part of a broader database vendor consolidation initiative that includes replacing both legacy relational and competitive NoSQL technology, we will unify this customer’s data across platforms with our multimodal capabilities over an expanding set of applications.
    • A global telecommunications company that relies on Couchbase to power several critical applications including an end-to-end IoT development platform is continuing to grow its use of Couchbase across multiple teams and applications.
    • A global airline that leverages Couchbase for its tablet based pre-flight check process is increasing its use of our edge capabilities to continue supporting operations to reduce flight delays.
    • We saw a significant expansion with a leading cruise line that is using Capella to power its guest ID and mobile wallet application.
    • Another Capella expansion came from a leading mobile game developer using Capella to store its gamer data, improve scalability, reduce latency and improve throughput for one of its most popular games.
    • A significant Capella migration came from a major European telecommunications and media company that is leveraging Couchbase for its suite of identity and access management solutions used for managing digital identities, authentication and access control across a variety of digital services.

In addition to strong expansions and migrations, we shared some exciting new logo wins:

    • A major gas station chain with over 1,000 locations selected Capella to power its in-store mobile kiosk. This customer needed a high performance database with offline-first mobile and edge capabilities and selected Couchbase because it was able to address all of its technical requirements.
    • An APAC based streaming platform transitioned from community edition to Enterprise to store large amounts of video data, leveraging our Magma storage engine for high-performance, cost-effective storage.
    • A global leader in industrial automation and information technology selected Couchbase for its offline-first mobile capabilities and peer-to-peer sync to power a mobile app that will be used by its maintenance, repair and operations personnel for real time alerts in order to serve up-to-date information for any ongoing issues that could disrupt business operations.
    • A cybersecurity solutions and risk management service provider selected Capella to power a mobile security application for one of its clients because of our platform’s superior mobile, offline-first and sync capabilities.

We are honored to be a strategic technology provider to so many organizations as we continue to meet the growing application needs across a wide range of use cases and industries in today’s AI driven world.
