Each new year brings a host of rituals and customs– like New Year’s resolutions and ‘predictions’– that get us excited for the upcoming year and on. Another ritual is the annual countdown, in which we glance at the rear view mirror to reflect on our progress and see how far we’ve really come. It’s the latter that I will focus on here, so let me grab that rear view mirror and give you a peek. Without further ado, here are Couchbase’s Top 20 Highlights of 2020 (in chronological order).

Heading into 2021 with strong winds in our sails, I think we can anticipate it will be a bigger challenge to winnow next year’s list down to 20 again. It will be one of those nice ‘problems’ to have.
