To Our Couchbase Community,
We at Couchbase recognize the profound impact that the COVID-19 pandemic is making on the world. Like other companies in our industry, Couchbase continues to closely monitor the quickly-changing developments, and as such, we have implemented a number of contingency policies according to the comprehensive Business Continuity Plan that we have built and evolved since our inception.
In accordance with our Business Continuity Plan, Couchbase has taken important steps to ensure our customers worldwide can continue to rely on Couchbase to support their business-critical applications. This includes adjusting our business operations to help ensure continuity and support of our customers, employees, and communities.
As a cloud-native company whose critical resources are cloud-based and accessible from anywhere, we will continue to serve our customers and community on a business as usual basis without interruption or degradation of service. Our geographically distributed team is more than accustomed to collaborating virtually and ready to support a remote environment for our entire workforce. During this crisis, we are prepared to maintain the high-quality services for which Couchbase is known.
The health and safety of our employees, customers, and community is a primary concern while we tend to our day-to-day business amidst this pandemic. We’ve canceled or postponed in-person events and converted many of those to virtual events; we’ve minimized business travel for all employees; and we’ve closed all of our offices to have employees work from home to further minimize their exposure while practicing social distancing. If our customers’ needs, however, require travel or in-person engagement, we will address this on a case-by-case basis to best support the specific situation.
In this time of uncertainty, our employees, customers, and partners can remain confident that our commitment to them will not wane. That is our promise. Thank you for your continued trust in Couchbase.
Wishing you and your respective families safety, wellness and security,
Matt Cain
