Cbbackup Segfault

I have tried several times to perform a backup using the cbbackup tool, and each time the process fails part of the way through and generates a segfault. Has anyone else ran into this problem?

The error in /var/log/syslog looks like this:

kernel: [93686.042657] python[30462]: segfault at 24 ip 000000000051939c sp 00007f01e27fb780 error 6 in python2.7[400000+2bd000]
kernel: [93686.137602] Core dump to |/usr/share/apport/apport 30450 11 0 30450 pipe failed

I am running Couchbase Server CE 3.0.1 on Ubuntu 14.04. Any ideas or places to look would be most appreciated.

Hi I’m sorry nobody has gotten back to you, however this is a known problem as you can see in this ticket https://issues.couchbase.com/browse/MB-15345

there is a work around documented here https://issues.couchbase.com/browse/DOC-628 I hope this helps
