Cbbackupmgr backup to two parallel repositories

I want to get my understanding correct about cbbackupmgr tool.

Here’s a scenario:

  1. I configure a repository named cluster to take backup using cbbackupmgr. This will take backup of entire cluster and run daily at a scheduled time.
  2. A parallel repository is created to take backup of only two buckets on demand.

Are backups in both repositories completely independent of each other?
If I take incremental backups in both repositories, will the incremental be always based off their own repository?

I was able to get a test environment to test this for myself. I found that the backups between repositories are independent of each other. So data backed up by one repository does not impact the other repository, it will maintain its separate chain which is good.
