When installing Couchbase Server 2.2 Community on OS X Mavericks it says my free disk space is 0 GB. It does recognize (most of) my RAM. Even when changing The Indices and Database Path it stays at 0 GB. When I install it anyway, it later has problems (doesn’t do it) compacting the append log, which means the data size grows and grows.
Couchbase’s bug log doesn’t say anything that helps.
It’s gonna run on a Ubuntu server (works fine there) when it’s done, so it’s not too bad. But it’s really inconvenient to have a relatively small dataset eat up a very large portion of my disk space. Also, I’m not sure about performance since Couchbase won’t create more than 64 vBuckets and not grow to 1024 (is that a bad thing?)
