Couchbase restricted to 20MB JSON and 20MB attachment

Hi,

In the document, it says like this,

Documents being replicated to the Couchbase Sync Gateway are restricted to 20MB of JSON and 20MB for each attachment, due to size limitations of Couchbase Server.

What does this mean exactly? It allows to store up to 40 MB on the server to store for each document? or It allows to store list of documents maximum of 40 MB for entire DB itself?

Just another clarification…Document alone is 20 MB and each attachment to that document can have separate 20 MB right? Or Are you saying Document along-with any no. of attachment all together can have 20 MB max?

I am not sure. I think the limit is the total size of attachment limit 20MB. ping @adamf
