During Timezone changes in the customer deployment site , do we need to perform any activities in CB DB. My understanding is once OS time changes by Linux team , automatically DB time also changes accordingly.
Please correct me if I am wrong.

The time is an offset in seconds from 00:00:00 January 1, 1970 GMT. It doesn’t change for daylight savings. Only the formatting changes.
So we no need to do perform anything DB correct?
Given that you have doubts, I recommend that you set up a sandbox with your couchbase server and applications to test the timezone change. I do not know if your applications or couchbase have dependencies on the timezone, and therefore cannot tell you if you need to change anything.
