Email Alerts not working

How do I get the email alerts working using gmail smtp server?

Is anything coming up in settings -> logs ?

I am not able to set email alerts from couchbase console.
It is showing below error :“An error occurred during sending test email.”

Please help …

What version of Couchbase and what platform?

Are there any additional details in the “Log” tab in the UI?

The Couchbase version is 4.6.3 and no other details is showing apart from this.

From Log tab, I have found below details:
Could not send email: {error,retries_exceeded, {network_failure,“localhost”,{error,econnrefused}}}. Make sure that your email settings are correct.

Could you check your setting in mail server? The best way is asking your ISP or IT about mail server information.
I am able to send test email in Alert Setting of Couchbase Server Enterprise 4.6.3 and received test email few minutes after that.
