I am trying to install Couchbase on a Windows 8.1 laptop. Things go fine until I get to “Computing Space Requirements”. The progress bar indicates that it’s finished, but then the process dies. Cancelling doesn’t work; I have to kill the install with Task Manager. Also, when I uninstall what was installed, I have to uninstall twice to erase everything. When I test compatibility of the installation program, it says to run the program in Windows 7 mode. That should not be the case. One last thing… I noticed that 3 Beta doesn’t support Windows. Is Windows support going to be discontinued?
