Hi I have some issues with Sync Gateway. When there’s a reasonably high number of changes in core, SG fails. The service keeps running, but sync is stopped.
If I restart the SG service, syncing resumes.
I looked in the Windows Event log, only the service start and stop messages show up there.
I looked for a log file, but couldn1t find one.
I found CouchBase log on the CB Management Console, but can’t seem to find any messages related to SG.
Where do I look for error messages to figure out what happens with SG?

- What version of SGW / server are you running ?
- The sync gateway should have been launched with a JSON config file . You can specify the log level in this file. (https://developer.couchbase.com/documentation/mobile/1.4/guides/sync-gateway/config-properties/index.html#1.4/logging)
