Indexing using three different indexes

Hello everyone,

I am using a query which in the “Plan” it has written that it uses 3 different indexes. My question is, is the number of indexes directly proportional to the speed of a query or are those two factors not related always? Like more indexes doesn’t necessarily mean slower queries?

As long each query block doesn’t use IntersectScan it will be good. You can specify the USE INDEX to avoid IntersectScan.
