Memory used is high, but user data in RAM is low, and disk usage is low also. May be memory leak?

For persistent bucket

Memory used: 68G
User data in RAM: 4.81G
Disk usage: 18G

As shown below:
https://www.evernote.com/shard/s205/sh/2ceca693-d15a-469f-9fec-79134ea73e08/3abc691bda698d5d34d6d952c259cd60

Memory used is high than user data in RAM and disk usage.
Over time, I hava to increase memory quota in order to prevent OOM when memory used exceed high water mark.
Any one can help me explain it? May be memory leak?

Hey, could you tell us a which version of Couchbase you’re running and on what platform?

Hey, matthew. I’m using couchbase 1.8.1 on Linux (Kernel 2.6.32) platform.
Could you tell me the reason for this issue? Are there some bugs to track it?

Hey,

If you’re running Couchbase 1.8.1 then I’d suggest upgrading to a more recent version of Couchbase Server. 3.0.3 is the latest Enterprise version and Community builds are available for 3.0.1.

I’m afraid we no longer support the 1.8.1 series but perhaps someone else has some experience that could help.

Do you mind me asking if there’s something preventing you from upgrading?

Thanks,

Matthew.
