My anxiety about scaling in couchbase

  1. let says, i have 3 node in 1 cluster
  2. then, the disk on all node is full

how do i scale couchbase for this kind of problem

Monitor your disks before they get to full. When at a before-full state, add more nodes. Once rebalance is complete and compaction runs, the disk space will be reduced in size.

wait, adding more node is just for replication isn’it ? any documentation link for this ?

that’s very cool & easy, i can just add more node via web ui
