Restoring data to couchbase due to fresh couchbase installation

Hello,
We have a couch-base server that somehow had a fresh installation and all our data that was there is lost. I had managed to take the backup of /opt/couchbase/var/lib/couchbase/data/ … Now when i try to copy the data back it is not showing the couchbase server.Any help is appricated.

Before we can help, we need a few more details:

  • What version of Couchbase server is being used?
  • What operating system?
  • Do you know how the fresh install happened?
  • What command are you using to do the restore?
    • Does it report any errors?
