Scaling couchbase-server

Hello Team!

I have a couchbase-server setup which sits on the same server with a Go server. The Go server communicates with the couchbase-server instance on http://localhost:8091. This Machine is an AWS EC2 Instance. I want to confirm if this setup is easily scalable; if we create autoscalling groups, or there are multiple instances of this server, would that affect the performance of couchbase?

You should write scripts to monitor Couchbase server and rebalance it automatically when nodes added/removed. There was discussion about autoscaling here:
