Still using the memcache API?

Hi,

It’s been a couple of years since I’ve used Couchbase and am getting back into it again and catching up on the differences. It looks like some changes have been made. A couple of questions:

  • It looks like you’ve dropped the memcache API in favour of using N1QL for all types of query. Is this correct?
  • If you’re just caching data and not processing it, is it still better to just do a N1QL request?
