Uninstalling Couchbase server requires unrelated applications to be closed

I noticed that when uninstalling Couchbase server (5.0.1 Community) I am often asked to close seeming unrelated applications such as Skype and Chrome. This is not a show stopper but is quite annoying. Anybody knows why that is happening?
