Hey Couchbase Community,
I’m facing an issue with XDCR and could really use some guidance. I’m getting the following error:
XDCR Replication Error: Failed to replicate data to remote cluster. Error code: 10012.
A bit of background:
I have two clusters set up for cross-datacenter replication.
Everything was working fine until recently when this error started popping up.
I’ve checked the network connection, and it seems stable, but I’m not entirely sure if there’s something I’m missing. When I was searching about this, I came across these resources Cross Data Center Replication (XDCR) | Couchbase Docs AWS interview questions couchbase xdcr replication with view - Stack Overflow and as per them I tried the following.
I verified the XDCR settings to ensure they’re correct.
I also cross-checked the logs for any additional clues but didn’t find anything obvious.
I also monitored network bandwidth and latency, which seem within acceptable limits.
Restarted the replication a few times, but the error persists.
I’m wondering if anyone here has faced a similar issue or could point me in the right direction. What are some common pitfalls or configurations I should double-check? Also, any tips on optimizing the replication load or ensuring the network stability between datacenters?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance
